Vintage Roads rents out beautiful Volkswagen T2 passenger buses in excellent condition, both exterior and interior, thanks to a complete restoration. The 1970 Volkswagen Vans have an original air-cooled engine in the back. The buses have the dimensions of a large car and so are easy to manoeuvre and park in small villages or cities, for instance.

Esterel (white), T2B, passenger bus and camper Van

The white VW T2B has registration number AX-976-BG and is from January 1978; we bought it near Avignon. The bus has an original Westfalia rising roof, cupboard layout and yellow tartan upholstery, and as a camper offers space to 4 people. But after a minor conversion an additional bench can be placed in the middle, so 8 people (with safety belts) can be transported. The Volkswagen Van has a type 1 1600 CC air-cooled engine for the characteristic ‘Beetle sound’.

Les Calanques (orange), T2B, passenger bus and camper Van

The orange T2B bus has registration number EJ-996-QJ and is from January 1979. The bus has a very special colour combination, orange at the bottom and beige around the windows. This Volkswagen was imported from Santa Fe, New Mexico America. As is common on the American market, the bus has a 2-litre type 4 injection engine and an odometer in miles. The bus has an original Westfalia rising roof, cupboard layout and yellow tartan upholstery and as a camper offers space to 4 people. But after a minor conversion a n additional bench can be placed in the middle, so 7 people (with safety belts) can be transported.
