1 Preamble

2CV Expérience.com is an LLC, based at 614 RD 7N 13670 Saint-Andiol FRANCE having registered the brands « Vintage Roads » and « Yes Provence ».
The “tenant” or « client » stand for the person, the company or institution profiting from the rental and signing the rental contract.
The “vehicle” stands for the car stipulated in the rental contract.
These terms and conditions applies to all benefits, seminars and reservations made with 2CV Expérience.com on every platform (internet and other rental sites).
They are communicated at the same time as the quote. By accepting the general terms and conditions, the tenant declares being informed of the content of the car rental. 2CV Expérience.com reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions for the non concluded contracts to the date the modifications has been made.

2 The cars

Keep in mind that our vehicles aren’t young. Thus, we ask you to take good care of them, as if it was one of your personal cars. We remind to our customers that it is possible that your vehicle isn’t the one ordered for different reasons:
-Breakdowns of the car.
-Mechanics have detected an anomaly on the vehicle.
-Clients before you have returned the vehicle faulty. In that case, for your safety, another vehicle will be offered.
The client took awareness and understood the function of the company. The offered vehicle being equivalent, the client can, by no means, ask for a refund, and is aware that classic cars need a very special attention.

3 Responsabilities

The client is responsible for any direct or indirect damage, that he or the participants could cause to the rental.
2CV Expérience.com has no responsibility for theft or deteriorations of goods or personal items whatever the place where the incident happens.
2CV Expérience.com isn’t held responsible for immobilisation of a vehicle resulting from a deterioration or a bad use of the vehicle by the clients.
The client declares and guarantees having a full legal capacity allowing him to commit to a contract of which he is owner of an ongoing public liability insurance. For this purpose, the client commits to drop out and to make its insurers and other participants drop out of any lawsuit against 2CV Expérience.com if a damage occurs from its own act.
2CV Expérience.com commits to:
-Make available one or several vehicles in perfect mechanic state (valid technical control), clean outside and inside, and with a full tank
-To respect the general terms and conditions
-To provide a valid insurance for the one or the several rented vehicles
-To do a briefing and a test drive for the one or the several rented vehicles
-To provide a technical assistance 7 days a week on defined hours (9 am to 7 pm) for individuals, not professionals
-To provide a technical assistance during the whole duration of the seminar (valid for professional clients, not individuals)

4 The professionals: Quote and payment

Quote valid according to the indicated date on it. Passed this period, we will not be able to guarantee the vehicles’ availability.
The non accepted quote isn’t an order. The price is based on the number of vehicles ordered and not the number of vehicles present or used the day of the event.
Our prices can change with time according to increase or unexpected events.
The prices take account of the VAT. Any change of rate will automatically be passed on the price of the event. It is the same for any new tax that could be established by the public authorities.
Deposit invoice:
To transform a quote into a confirmed service provision, we ask to send back this same quote signed and dated, with the mention “agreed and signed”. The confirmation and the blockage of the vehicles are effective when the payment of the deposit invoice of 50% of the total amount has been received. The payment of the 50% is worthy for reservation and commitment of the client, as well as acceptation of the general terms and conditions and the cancelation conditions. The personalized quote is established according to the wished and information given by the client.
Remaining balance invoice:
The payment of the remaining balance invoice (50% of the total amount) is to be paid at the latest 7 days before the date of the event. If the event occurs less than 30 days after the confirmation date, we ask for the payment of the total amount in order to confirm the provision and book the vehicles.
Any modifications of the provision will cause a modification and return of the invoice. The number of vehicles can be modified subject to availability. Starting from 21 days before the provision date, the number of vehicles is non changeable, the invoice will not be reassessed.
Our tarifs can be modified according to increase or unexpected events, they will be indicated on the invoice and before acceptation and signature of the contract.

5 Individuals: Reservation and payment

Our tarifs (in TTC) are available for free on our brochure and on our website. They can be modified according to increase or unexpected events, and will be passed on the non accepted invoices.
The totality of the amount is asked for, we do not take deposits.
-Reservation by email and by phone: an invoice is sent with a payment link. Be careful to the expiry date, passed this date we can’t guarantee the vehicle’s availability. The booking isn’t confirmed unless the payment has been received.
-We have a website, the booking is effective only when the have the full reservation with the payment. The company isn’t responsible if the vehicle isn’t available anymore.

6 Payment methods

Payments can be made by:
-Bank transfers for professionals (on exceptional demand for individuals)
-Payment link with credit card
-Holiday vouchers (for individuals)
Cheques are not accepted.

Our GNI

Any irregular payment, inoperative or fraudulent for an attributable reason to the client will lead to the booking cancelation by 2CV Expérience.com without possible compensation. If the payment has not been paid before the rental day, 2CV Expérience.com has the right not to do the departure (valid for professionals and individuals).

7 Professionals: Our tarifs

Our tarifs include:
-The vehicles’ provision
-The vehicles’ insurance
-Vehicle rented with a full tank
-110 kilometers per day
-The departure briefing
-Technical assistance by our team during the event

Our tarifs do not include:
-The guidance and escort of the vehicles
-The fees linked to the damages caused by the groupe’s drivers

8 Individuals: Our tarifs

Our tarifs include:

-Technical assistance
-Briefing and the catch in hand of the vehicle
-110 kilometers per day
-Advice and stroll ideas in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region by our team
-Vehicle rend with a full tank
-Fixed departure and returning hours (delay charged 50€). Returning in autonomy is possible, without our team
-A rental in these departments: Bouches-du-Rhône, Vaucluse, Var, Alpes Maritime (up to Nice), Alpes de Haute Provence
(up to Sainte Croix du Verdon, Drôme (up to Grignan), Gard (up to Pont du Gard) and Ardèche (up to Vallon Pont d’Arc).
For any other distance, please contact us in advance.

Our tarifs do not include:
-The full tank when returning the vehicle
-The delay when returning the vehicle (an extra charge of 50€ will be billed)
-The color choice of the vehicles
-The fees linked to the damages caused by the driver
-A rental outside the departments and limitations mentioned overhead. The rental outside the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur
region, in Corsica or abroad is forbidden

9 The professionals: Organisation and unwound

Our offer includes a 110 kilometers drive per day and per car. Beyond, an additional fee of 0,80€/km will be invoices.
-Itinerary: Inform us beforehand of the routes you are willing to take during your location. In an approach of cooperation we could advise you on the itinerary and its feasibility for vintage cars (steep roads, passes…). For safety and insurance reasons, it is forbidden to take motorways.
In case of late return, it will lead to additional fees for the extra work of our team: chauffeur, mechanics, event team. Any additional hour started is owed, with a 100€ excluding tax penalty per vehicle.
-Roadbook creation: on the Alpilles and Luberon territories only. Creation of tailor-made itineraries on booklet or touch tablet, ideas, advice and visits. However, we are not able to book nor pay external activities for you. Any volunteer degradation of the apportioned equipment will lead to a billing of the repairing fees.
-Deposit: The departure of our vehicles is done only if we have received the deposit (bank print) beforehand, sent on a safety link. We do not accept deposit cheques. Its amount is fix and do not change according to the number of rented cars.
It will be restrained in case of damage on the vehicles.
-Drivers and participants: Drivers have to be able to present a valid driving licence and has to respect the highway code.
You have to be over 21 years old and have obtained your driving licence at least 3 years before. We ask on the day of departure the driving licences of every chauffeur and will keep copies of them during a period of one year. In case of contravention, we will send it with an additional 100€ fee for processing charge. We decline any responsibility regarding the participants’ drive. The client commits to verifying that the chauffeurs don’t drive under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, barbiturates, drugs or any other illegal substances. We recommend the chauffeur and participants to respect the vehicles’ integrity. It is also forbidden to smoke in the vehicles.
-State analysis of the vehicles: Both parts (renter and client) agree together p, the state analysis of the vehicles before departure. Zero risk of breakdowns doesn’t exist. Watch out for the dashboard and any abnormal noises. As the case may be, stop as soon as possible in a safe place, contact the assistance number and inform the renter.
-Departure and briefing: During the whole duration of the event, we guarantee a technical assistance. We are in any case guide or accompanist.
The participants commits to respecting the instructions given by the 2CV Expérience.com team. According to our availability, we are not able to guarantee a spare car the day of the event.
-Delivery: The departure place has to be on the drop-off location of the vehicles or at less than 200 meters. If the departure requires a more important distance, the provider client can set up transfers with the members of its team.
The vehicles are brought by truck.
Dimensions of the truck: Height when loaded: 4,30 meters ; length: 18,75 meters ; width: 2,55 meters.
For every seminars’ departure city, places of unloading are defined beforehand by 2CV Expérience.com due to the regulations subjected to lorries. According to cities, a parking permission has to be scheduled for public road occupancy, still with the agreement of 2CV Expérience.com. Deliveries are done before the event according to the number of vehicles, starting from one day to one week. Schedule the parking accordingly. If you wish to place the vehicles in a specific way, thank you for letting us know in order to optimise our time on the D day.
The price of transport can be changed according to the price of petrol.
-Parking: The responsibility of the parking booking has to be defined beforehand between the two parts. The company declines any responsibility in case of theft inside / outside the vehicles in parking lots. We advise avoiding leaving any valuable items at the sight of everyone and to keep a maximum of your personal belongings with you.
All of the information and conditions mentioned above aim to having a greater organisation between the two parts. In case of modification of the provision, 2CV Expérience.com has the right to invoice additional fees or unforeseen events non defined when accepting the quote.

10 Individuals: organisation and unwound

-The vehicle:
The renter and any client present on the rental day commit to:
-Get acquainted with knowing that the rental car is a classic vehicle accompanied by its charms but also its limits and inconveniences.
-Respect the rules given by the 2CV Expérience.com team
-Respect the vehicles’ integrity and tale charge of the franchise fees and immobilisation of the vehicle for repatriation.

-Report any incident, damages or breakdowns in order to preserve the vehicle and guarantee its repais by our mechanics.
-Insure that whilst the vehicle is in movement, the gas is lit off (for Combi Vans) and the doors closed.
It is forbidden to use a wash or jet wash from a car wash.
Try to park the vehicle in the shade and avoid driving between 12 am and 2 pm, at the hottest hours of the summer.
Recommendation for you and for the vehicle’s engine.
Special combi van:
-The water tank is empty for the rental for hygiene reasons.
-The gas bottles are bought in a supermarkets and we decline any responsibility in case of dysfunction.
-When returning, the ice box has to be empty, the dishes and equipments cleaned and arranged in the trunk and compartments for this purpose.
-Equipment: repair billing for any volunteer damage of the apportioned equipment (camping equipment, picnic basket, phone holder, backpacks for games or other).
We decline any responsibility in case of theft or loss of any personal belongings in the vehicles. We advise avoiding taking valuable items and not leaving them to everyone’s sight.
For a several days rental, it is asked to check and top up the engine oil.
-Fuel tank: SANS PLOMB 98 / UNLOADED FUEL 98. Be careful not to be mistaken, if you have any hesitation please call us immediately before damaging the vehicle. If the vehicle isn’t restored with a full tank, an additional 30€ fee for a half-day rental and and a 50€ fee for a full day for a 2CV, Méhari, Beetle and 90€ for Combi Vans. Same if the vehicle isn’t restored clean, 50€ will be billed.
The client necessarily keep the petrol station receipt and present them when returning the vehicle. Any fuel error will lead to an immobilisation of the vehicle and the repair invoice will be sent tot the client.
-Mileage and return: Our offer includes 110 kilometers of driving per day and per car. Beyond that, an additional fee of 0,80€/kilometer will be billed. Passing the planned returning hour: any started hour is attributable up to 50€/late hour of return. Drop off the vehicle on time and at the agreed place in the rental contract. 2CV Expérience.com tolerates 15 min late, beyond a 50€ fee per started hour will be billed.
For safety and insurance reasons, it is forbidden to take motorways with our vehicles.
-Roadbook creation: On demand on the Alpilles and Luberon territories only. Itineraries tailor-made creation on booklets or touch tablets, ideas, advice and visits.
However, we are not able to book and pay for external activities for you.
-Delivery: Possible on demand. Fix tarifs according to kilometer fees. The delivery is planned according to our chauffeur’s/driver’s availability. The transport price can change according to fuel cost.
During the rental period, fees linked to the use of the vehicle, like fuel, or parking fees, are at the expense of the client, unless derogation agreed with avec 2CV Expérience.com.
Animals are allowed under reserve to returning the vehicle clean and without damages (invoice for any repairs if applicable).
We do not accept responsibility regarding the picnic components. However, we insure that they are kept in the required conditions without breaking the cold chain. Possibility to do a tailor-made picnic for allergies only.
-Assistance: During your rental, whatever duration, we provide a technical assistance. Phone number in case of breakdown or other incident: +33 (0)7 56 81 78 78, Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 7 pm. We wish to inform you that any unjustified movement will be invoiced according to the meeting point. 2€ per kilometer from our warehouse (914 CD 29 Route de Cavaillon 13670 Saint-Andiol).

11 Mobile App: Vintage Rental

Available for free on Play Store and App Store. In a few steps, asking:
-Your contact details: Your personal data won’t be disclosed.
-Instruction video: Obligation to watch this video explaining the way to drive our vehicle.
-Deposit: The departure of the vehicle is done only if the deposit has been payed beforehand by bank print on a secured link. We do not accept check deposits. Its amount is 1500€. It will be retained in case of damage on the vehicle(s).
-Driving licence: Every chauffeur has to be able to present a valid driving licence and respect the traffic regulations. Have at least 3 years of experience as a driver and be over 21 years old. The relative information regarding the driving licence has to be mentioned on our mobile app and will be kept for a year. In case of fine, we will send it to the client with an extra 100€ for processing fees. Every chauffeurs have to be qualified and have a good physical conditions in order to drive the vehicle. We decline any responsibility regarding the participant’s way of driving (subject to non-drinking alcohol nor drugs behavior).
-State of the vehicles: Both parts (renter and clients) agree together on the state of the vehicles before departure. By validating the second step in the mobile app, the client accepts knowingly the state of the vehicle.
-Itineraries: Advice and ideas, we are not in any way responsible for inconveniences or problems on the descriptions and routes mentioned by the company. We are not able to book an accommodation or other activities for you.
We are only passionate people that shares tips and inevitable places to see in Provence.

12 Professionals: Cancelation policy

A cancelation is possible under certain conditions:
-Up to 31 days before the date of departure: free cancelation
-A 31 days or less before the rental date: 50% of the total amount will be reimbursed
If the weather conditions stops the unwound of the rental (light rain), the rental can be rescheduled but not cancelled.
The renter has the right to cancel the rental if the tenant is incapable to pay the deposit, balance or security deposit.
If 2CV Expérience.com cancels one or more events planned whereas the contract has been signed, the company will fully reimburse the deposit payed by the client. The client renounces expressly to pursue or claim any type of compensation or penalties to the company 2CV Expérience.com.
-Postponement: Possible and valid a year starting from the initial date of the event and under reserve of availability. After a year, if no postponement has been made, 50% of the total amount will be reimbursed.

Cancelation major force:
-Conditions for Covid 19 : If it happens to have a new lockdown or a government prohibition for gatherings over 50 person, the event will be postponed to an ulterior date, to be agreed according to availability, between the client and 2CV Expérience.com.
No fees invoices. If the event is canceled by the client for Covid reasons only 15 days before the booked date, 10% of the invoice will be retained for immobilisation of the vehicles for the planned event.
The balance will be retained during a year starting from the date of the event and will serve for rescheduling your event.
After a year, this amount will be reimbursed. Having 20% of the participants positive to Covid 19 (with justification) is a valid cause for cancelation.
Major force extends to every unpredictable and insurmountable event, in accordance and in the limits of the article 1218 of the civil code (flooding, earthquake…), preventing the client or 2CV Expérience.com from achieving the event planned in the contract
-Other case of major force: We are not responsible, thus we put into place exceptional conditions leading to potential overcosts, after consultation with the client.

13 Individuals: Cancelation policy

A cancelation is possible under certain conditions:
-Up to 30 days before the rental date: the total amount is reimbursed.
-After 30 days before the rental date: the total amount isn’t reimbursed.
Please note that light bad weather isn’t a valid reason for the rental cancelation, 2CV Expérience.com can cancel it if it judged that the weather conditions can harm the good conduct of the rental and to the client’s safety. After the cancelation, the company and the client will be in contact to define a new booking date.
The renter has the right to cancel the rental if the tenant is in the incapacity to pay the rental or the deposit.
-Postponement: Possible and valid a for a year after starting from the initial date of the event and under reserve of availability. After a year, if no postponement has been scheduled, 50% of the total amount of the rental will be reimbursed.
Presentation of a valid justification for postponement of the rental.
Cancelation for major forces:
-Conditions for Covid 19 : If it happens to have a new lockdown or a government prohibition, the rental will be postponed to an ulterior date according to the availability of 2CV Expérience.com. No fees invoiced. If the postponement isn’t planned after a year, the rental will be lost. 2CV Expérience.com can ask for justification in case of positivity to Covid 19 (with justification).
Major force extends to every unpredictable and insurmountable event, in accordance and in the limits of the article 1218 of the civil code (flooding, earthquake…), preventing the client or 2CV Expérience.com from achieving the event planned in the contract
-Other case of major force: We are not responsible, thus we put into place exceptional conditions leading to potential overcosts, after consultation with the client.

14 Insurance conditions

In accordance with the current legislation, 2CV Expérience.com is insured with Axa by a vehicle fleet insurance contract. A certificate can be provided on written demand by the client.
Every vehicle, whatsoever, is insured.
-Against theft of the vehicle: Any theft or theft tentative is covered by our insurance. The insurance isn’t valid only if the vehicle is stollen with the keys in it. The client’s franchise will then be doubled. The keys of the vehicle have to be given back to the company after the rental. Requested by our insurance, we have put into place prevention and protection mesures, such as tracers. Every vehicle is equipped with it. 2CV Expérience.com has the right to keep and study the data collected by them.
-Against fire on the vehicle: Material damages of the vehicle and its equipment are covered in case of fire. If the source of the fire is criminal or comes from the action of smoking in the vehicle, the tenant is responsible for the repair fees and/or replacement of the vehicle. Combi Vans and minibuses are equipped with fire extinguisher.
-Against chocs of the vehicle: material damages resulting from the choc of the vehicle with one or several vehicles are covered by our insurance. Necessary repairs resulting from the degradation of the inside and outside of the vehicle due to a bad driving or use of the tenant at his own fees.

15 Franchise / Deposit

There is a 1500€ insurance franchise which the tenant is accountable for in case of damage or loss caused on the vehicle and/or its equipment. Any private coverage for the tenant has to be taken before the departure date. It is not possible for the client to reduce this franchise. Any damaged material by the client and/or its participants will be fully billed at the price of the concerned brand new item.

16 Professional Civil Liability

2CV Expérience.com has a Professional Civil Liability (insurance policy number 10970583104). This contract guarantees the pecuniary consequences of the Civil liability on him after the exercise of the following activities:
Vehicle rental for BtoB (business to business).
Vehicle rental for BtoC (business to consumer).

17 Use of personal data

2CV Expérience.com collects the personal data (email, phone, first name, last name, address) of the client in order to elaborate the rental contract.
In accordance with the computing and liberty law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978, the tenant profits from an objection right to register these datas by sending a letter to the following address: 914 CD 29 Route de Cavaillon 13670 Saint Andiol.

18 Other conditions

It is forbidden for the tenant to:
-Rent the vehicle to other persons
-Transport a number of person over the written number on the car registration document
-Sell the vehicle and parts of it
-Tow the rented vehicle
