The Univers vintage exhibition

The last weekend of September, the Vintage Roads team was present at the Univers Vintage show in Saint Maxime.

3 days of celebration

3 days of vintage festivities with workshops, exhibitions and sales of objects reminiscent of the golden years between 1950 and 1980. Everyone immersed themselves in this era with accessories, vinyls, clothes, decoration and old cars, the past was very present on the port of Saint Maxime.

During the entire show, our T2 Combi Van stood next to beautiful vintage Cadillacs, Jaguars and Mustangs. Visitors could imagine themselves on holiday with the roof up, the chairs out and the picnic basket. Many even wanted to take it home with them, proving that it was a great success. Nostalgic parents showed their children that they had known this Combi Van in their youth. A moving exchange which shows that our vintage cars are traces of the past and still drive on the roads of Provence after so many years.

A big prize

Lors d’un tirage au sort, le plus grand prix était un voyage de 3 jours dans un Volkswagen Combi. Les heureux gagnants pourront faire un voyage en van ! Une grande aventure les attend !

The little anecdote

A show is not a show if there are no stories to tell. It’s an opportunity to meet and exchange with visitors and also between exhibitors where we share a common passion, that of vintage. Opposite our stand, a colleague had brought a T2 Combi Van in the same colour. As luck would have it. Our camper van found its twin on the French Riviera!
